Sport Injuries

A discipline that deals with functional disorders of the joints, chiropractic is ideally suited to provide valuable service to athletes from occasional players to professional. The goal of chiropractic treatment may be divided to two roles:

1. Prevent injury and enhance performance: It is possible that a person can have a mechanical dysfunction without being aware of any clinical symptoms. Not only will they be prone to injury when applying that extra bit of effort but as they are not functioning correctly then they can not perform to their maximum capacity.

2. Treatment of Injuries: strains, sprains, tendonitis, bursitis, frozen shoulders, tennis elbow,
golfers elbow, back pain, neck pain etc. Chiropractic is a natural health care method that stresses the importance of keeping all the systems of the body functioning efficiently. This allows the player to enjoy peak performance at minimum injury risk, and fast recuperative power. Many of the greatest athletes in the world are adjusted before the competition as a tune-up in an effort to place their bodies in a state of peak efficiency. Following competition, they are adjusted to enhance the recovery process after the stress of their particular event/sport.
